Nottingham Yarn Expo returns Sunday 17th November 2019
The talented people at Nottingham Yarn Expo are busy putting the final touches for another year of beautiful yarn, exciting workshops and wonderful entertainment. With just under 2 weeks to go, we thought we would take a look at some of the exciting things you can expect from the Expo this year!
Why not add some Hygge to your November with just under fantastic 70 exhibitors. Many of the exhibitors at Nottingham Yarn Expo are independent and female led businesses with diverse backgrounds. Check out the impressive exhibitor list and get ready for some serious yarn shopping!
Nottingham Yarn Expo takes place in a venue awarded “Best Exhibition Space 2019”. It really is the perfect place to spend the day admiring the very latest yarns and designs, chatting with friends and sharing the latest techniques. With plenty of seating and a cafeteria on site offering drinks and delicious food, make sure you bring your latest WIP!
All female String Quartet Highly Strung! will be ready to bring their eclectic repertoire to the stage with classical, jazz and pop. This versatile group have an impressive CV and with over 20 years experience, they have played individually with top orchestras and pop superstars too!
At Nottingham Yarn Expo you will have the unique opportunity to book a workshop with international knitwear designer Fiona Ellis. Fiona is travelling from her home in Toronto, Canada to teach her first workshops in the UK for several years. If you don’t want to miss this rare opportunity to take part and learn new skills head over to the Nottingham Yarn Expo website and choose your workshop.

Easy access from the train station and a tram that stops just outside the venue (just get off at the Nottingham Trent University stop and you’re there!). And with so many convenient Park and Ride locations all over Nottingham, getting to Nottingham’s woolly heaven is effortless.
