Our brand new issue is out now!
The days are getting lighter, and (dare we say it?) we seem to be seeing a little more sun. This brightness and colour is reflected in this issue’s yarn kit palette – the various bright shades and fresh green are sure to fill you with the joys of spring!
Our designers have certainly been encouraged by the change of season, especially with clothing and accessories. For little ones, try Bryony Robinson’s adorable ‘Spring Flowers’ tank and cardigan, or the Floribunda baby set by Alison Holloway.
For grown-ups, there’s a crocheted cowl pattern using the gorgeous star stitch, and a very pretty knitted mitts and cowl to keep you warm on Spring’s chillier days.
Home projects range from little to large – give the star blankets a go, or join in our craft-along blankets. If you’d like to try your hand at Veronika Cromwell’s cute bear-faced cushion, make sure you check out the step-by-step guide to some crochet basics with Sarah-Jayne Fragola from Bella Coco.
Speaking of cute – we have some great toy projects this issue, from Clara the Cat to the lovely Lady Mermaidy patterns. Both Little Bo Peep and her sheep even double up as accessories for your crochet kit!
Last but not least, our official toy pattern this issue is everyone’s favourite cheese-munching duo, Wallace and Gromit. You can find both knitting and crochet patterns in our supplement, as well as a bonus crochet pattern for the dastardly Feathers McGraw. Time to get cracking!
