Fjord River Knit-Along Shawl – Part 5

Hello and welcome back to our Knit-along, where we hope we can visually help you along your way with your Fjord River Shawl.

You can download the pattern from issue 3 here…

Never tried colour-work? The Slip stitch colour-work in section 7 is such a great way to create the illusion of intricate colour changes.

It means you don’t have  to worry about what is happening at the back of your work as the slip stitches do the work for you!!

So no twisting of different yarns at the back .

This slip stitch pattern is made on a basis of 4 stitches over 8 rows. The slip stitches carry the other colour across the back of the work so that you will only be using one colour on a row.
